There will be plenty of parking on the sports field, so drive on in and have a look this Friday when the Dannevirke High School holds its second annual Twilight Gala.
The gala opens at 4.30pm on the school grounds and there will be entertainment galore for the young, the young at heart and all in between, with raffles and a spinning wheel, lots of games, a bouncy castle, face painting and nail art. Golf and a rugby toss could appeal to the more sporty.
For those of a bargain-hunting nature there is plenty to get excited about with lots of donated jumble, bric-a-brac, books, plants and more.
The gala runs until 7.30pm so it takes in dinner-time and there's no reason at all to go home and cook - it's all catered for. There's Indian cuisine, a sausage sizzle, gourmet burgers, American hotdogs, sweets, cakes and drinks.
If it sounds too good to miss, just wait, there's more - there's also paintball and a petting zoo so something to appeal to pretty much everyone.
