Organisers have hailed the second annual Harvey World Travel Wearable Creations event a success, with stunning costumes, increased entries and healthy audience numbers at this year's extravaganza of multimedia wearable art.
Two shows with the theme "The Future and Beyond", were held at the CHB Municipal Theatre in Waipawa lastSunday, a matinee and evening performance that combined models on the catwalk with other entertainment.
Les Femmes Poissons, created by four sisters from New Plymouth, took out the Supreme and Fantasia category awards.
The CHB Business and Professional Women's club organises the event, which club member Rosemary Rendle said attracted an even higher standard than last year.
"The winners were very worthy recipients and there were some great comedy acts and musical performances throughout the show."
