Gisborne Herald photographer Paul Rickard was out and about capturing local sport on camera on Saturday and Sunday.

His busy weekend featured the Poverty Bay Premier club rugby clash between YMP and Waikohu at Te Karaka; Gisborne Boys' High School's Super 8 1st XV rugby match against Palmerston North Boys' High at the Rectory fields; the Premier Grade netball game between Ngatapa and Whangara Old Girls at the YMCA; the Poverty Bay women's club hockey game between Ngatapa and GMC Kowhai on the turf at Harry Barker Reserve; and the Oligoi Jug men's interclub pennants golf final between Electrinet Park (1) and Poverty Bay on the Poverty Bay course.
