Gisborne Trampoline Club members returned from the North Island champs in Auckland with seven titles, a silver medal and four bronze medals from its team of 13.

Ava-Raey Haley took out both the trampoline and double mini North Island titles in the eight-and-under age group, which was not surprising given her great attitude to training.

Porsha Warren-Hillman also took titles in trampoline and double mini in the nine and 10 year sage group.

The high level Porsha is working at will be apparent next year.

She has already qualified for the FIG (Federation Internationale de Gym-nastique)  11 and 12 years age group and will have the opportunity to qualify for the world champs.

Amazingly, Porsha will compete with four doubles in her routine for the New Zealand nationals.

Haley Rolls won the title in FIG 11-to-13 age group and has already qualified in double mini for the world champs in Birmingham this November.

At the New Zealand nationals she will compete in trampoline and double mini. Haley is another showing great potential.

Tyler Sheldrake saved his best for last. He gave his finest performance to date and deservedly won the North Island title in the National nine-and-10-year trampoline age group. Tyler has put in the hard work and received just reward.

From now on, everyone in the club will be looking ahead to the New Zealand nationals in Tauranga early in July, and to Lily Arnold’s performance in the Australian nationals.
