Gisborne Senior Surf Lifesaving Championships contested Midway Beach

SKI POWER: Waikanae’s Thompson siblings Quade and Kim paddle home in the mixed double ski at the Gisborne senior surf lifesaving championships yesterday.

THE Gisborne Senior Surf Lifesaving Championships got under way at Midway Beach yesterday, with canoe, surf ski and board events held. Fine weather is forecast for tomorrow, when beach and surf events will be held from 8am.
