The Streetstock Tri Series kicks off that night too, along with more TQ action and saloons.
Gisborne’s Koby Gooch (59G), Vinzent MacGregor (5G) and Jorja Rogers (16G) have entered the ministock event.
Gooch and MacGregor must be rated contenders, given how well they have been going this season.
The streetstock tri series continues in Palmerston North and in Rotorua over the long weekend.
Jarad Ingoe (78G) will race in the streetstock series.
Bryce Simpson (98G) will line up in
Rotorua on Saturday night in the Paradise Valley meeting.
Production saloon racer Seth McKay (48G) will be there also in the Bay of Plenty production saloon car championships.
The BoP saloon title goes on the line there also, with Sean Robertson (16G), Glen Paris
(14G) and Nigel Hazelton (54G) among the starters.
Unfortunately, forecast wet weather looks set to play a hand this weekend.
