Gisborne rider Larina Dolman rode Kiwi Lansing to victory in the pro-amateur rider series at the three-day Feilding Jumping Show at Manfeild over the weekend. The win consolidates Dolman’s position at the top of the standings in the Harrison Lane Pro-Am Rider Series. Also competing at the Feilding Show,
in the show hunter section, was Gisborne’s Merran Hain, on Untouchable. They were second in the NRM Open High Points Series and fourth in the Carousel Equestrian Amateur High Points Series. Wairoa rider Kaitlin Brown, on Tawa, had two wins at the Feilding Show. The combination won the Equestrian Sports New Zealand (ESNZ) Show Hunter Pony Equitation Series and the Aniwell Category C High Points Series. Gisborne rider Molly McEwan, on Buffalo Man, was fourth in the Hokonui Sport Horse Category A High Points Series, and on Galaxy Firefly was third in the Fiber Fresh Category B High Points Series. Hastings rider Jesse Linton and LT Holst Elsbeth bagged a handful of firsts at the Feilding Show, and won the EvoEvents Horse Grand Prix for their first victory at that level and on debut at the Manfeild arena. Linton co-owns the nine-year-old Holsteiner mare with his 92-year-old grandmother Effi Linton. He bought LT Holst Elsbeth as a six-year-old from Greg and Kim Best.
