After a dry start to the month, the district can expect a few drops in the next few days.

MetService’s outlook for the end of the week says to expect rain from Friday through to Monday.

At this stage it is forecasting Friday to be the wettest day with a 90 percent chance of more than just a millimetre or so. Saturday to Monday should be showers only.
