Thank you Lara Meyer for your October 24 letter: Vote upsetting, immoral. 
You said it all from your own experience of the indigenous Australians’ position. I agree with all your comments 100 percent. 
You said it was a punch in the face; I will add it was a kick in the teeth.
The Aboriginal people deserved broad public support to win this referendum, big time!
