Interesting article from Ric Stevens, Open Justice, which confirms that a long-haul truck driver who was dismissed for refusing to get vaccinated against Covid-19 has been awarded nearly $29,000 by the Employment Relations Authority.
One wonders how many similar claims are awaiting settlement. Of course, except on a morality basis, similar settlements would not apply to health workers who were likewise dismissed — although they surely should!!
