“We've only been here for three months but we feel we have already stamped a bit of a mark on the cattle,” Mr Sanson said.
“We will continue to focus on performance, backed up by science, and we look forward to working with you all into the future,” he said to the gallery.
Auctioneer Neville Clark said it was the start of a “new generation” for the stud.
“It was a very tidy sale for them first-up, with an excellent clearance rate and fair money on the bulls sold,” he said.
“The better bulls got the credit they deserved.”
Mr Cribb said he and Mr Sanson were “humbled” by the turnout, with a packed rostrum.
“Thanks everyone for coming.”
Mr Sanson said they could not have asked for a better response to their first sale.
“It's a good platform to build on and our focus is to build for the future.
“It's been a good day.
Andrew and I are looking forward to seeing where we can take the stud — there's certainly a lot of potential.”
Mr Lane attended and said he was pleased for the new owners.
“They are a dynamic duo and moving forward I wish them all the very best.”
