The date has been changed for the official opening of the Te Araroa Aerodrome, from Friday April 12, to Sunday April 14.

“The date has been changed to the weekend to allow many of the private aircraft owners and others, who found it difficult to get time off from their respective jobs, to attend the opening,” said a spokesman for the aerodrome operators.

They expect a number of light aircraft and their pilots and passengers to attend the opening.
