I have been told that the fence by the library cost $6000 to plan and erect. $6000 is three times the annual rates for my house!
In other words, my rates for three years were used to pay for this pointless piece of metal, whose only purpose seems to be to prevent people walking on the grass.
The fence should be taken down and a path put from the carpark to the library door.
The grass would not be damaged and the $6000 should be recouped from the wages of whoever planned the fence.
