Clearances were very good at the Mokairau and Wilencote Hereford sales on Wednesday and some good money was paid for the more sought after young bulls. Lot 8, for example, at Wilencote fetched an equal sale high $13,000. The Mokairau bulls realised a lift in average on 2022. Picture by Emma Pollitt
Mokairau and Wilencote Hereford studs enjoyed almost total clearances in their rising two-year-old bull sales this week and it augurs well for how well the Angus sales will go towards the end of the month.
Both studs realised healthy averages across their sales with close to 50 bulls sold between
them.
