THE small truck believed stolen by the man police are hunting in relation to a firearms incident in Gisborne last night was found this afternoon in Te Hapara.
The wanted man is 37-year-old Aaron Bagley and he remains at large.
It is alleged Bagley threatened people at a house in
Bryce Street in Mangapapa last night and then crashed his Mercedes car in the short police pursuit that followed.
“The small truck we believe Bagley later stole from Stonehaven Memorial’s in Nelson Road was found at around 2.30pm today in Mill Road,” said Detective Sergeant Kevin Ford.
“We still believe he is in possession of the firearm allegedly involved in the Bryce Street incident. He should not be approached and any sightings should be reported immediately to police.”
