The ship can accommodate 596 guests in 298 cabins and carries a crew of just over 400.
Silver Muse is powered by four diesel 6.525 MW engines, with a cruising speed of 19.8 knots, and 21 knots maximum.
In a review of the ship a cruise expert and critic said, “The biggest in the Silversea fleet provides a blueprint for how the Italian luxury cruise line plans to evolve.
“With a monochromatic yet elegant colour palette in brown, tan, beige and cream, Silver Muse personifies European luxury, which whispers rather than screams, and you’ll see the same materials — rich fabrics and gleaming marble — used in the passenger suites, as you’ll find in many of the lounges and restaurants. It’s beautiful in its simplicity.”
Silver Muse passengers are spoilt for choice when it comes to dining, with eight restaurants on board.
After departing Fincantieri’s yard, the ship set off on an eight-day Easter voyage in April 2017 that started and ended at Monaco, visiting Porto Mahon, Livorno and Portofino.
Two days later, it started its official 13-day maiden voyage from Monaco to Nice between April and May 2017, stopping at ports in Barcelona, Valletta, Amalfi and Sorrento.
The cruise ship then embarked on a series of voyages in Europe, Canada, North and South America, as well as the Caribbean, covering 130 destinations in 34 countries.
She sails out of Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Bali, Tanah Ampo, Yokohama, Tokyo, Seward, Vancouver, Brisbane, Singapore, Doha, Piraeus, Piraeus, Laviron, Mahe and Cape Town.
