Story, composition, colour, lighting and vibe were among criteria for the Share the Stoke category in the Gisborne Boardriders Club surf photography contest. This category, one of two, was about celebrating the joy of surfing with others. Stella Smith captured that, and won first place, with her picture of young surfers Daizee Rawls (left) and Hannah King.?
