The search for Jason Hollows, the 54-year-old fisherman who went overboard off the coast of Hawke’s Bay on Monday April 1, has been officially suspended.
“The decision has been made to cease searching at this time and the matter has been referred to the coroner,” said police. They have extended their condolences to Jason’s family.
The Trust Tairāwhiti rescue helicopter was involved in the search for the man in the 24 hours after he went missing.
