Sea fog rolls into Wainui Beach

Clouds of sea fog rolled into Wainui Beach yesterday afternoon as the MetService issued a severe thunderstorm watch over much of the East Coast. Heavy rain and some hail was predicted, with the risk of a small tornado or funnel cloud. The same sea fog conditions were experienced in Napier.
