Will the change of ownership at GH also bring about a change of editorial direction, or will the practice of cancellation continue? A debate on scientific matters is long overdue, but will we continue to be told that the science is settled, and as I was recently advised debating the science is corrosive?

The first principle of the Media Council states “Publications should be bound at all times by accuracy, fairness and balance, and should not deliberately mislead or misinform readers by commission or omission. In articles of controversy or disagreement, a fair voice must be given to the opposition view.”
The public deserve to be better informed. Allowing freedom of speech is the only way to expose the truth. Those who seek to expunge it would seem afraid of what it might reveal.
