Interesting to see #nznationalparty admitting defeat before the election. If they’re scared of, and have no confidence in, even trying to negotiate a coalition agreement I think they are not fit to govern.
Remember that in 2017 they blamed others for their failure to form a government instead of acknowledging their own inadequacies. They are ignorant of the need for compromise under MMP even though it has been here for 27 years. Are they really so entrenched in their negativity that they won’t even try?
Would they do the same with the international trade agreements that our Labour govt have been so successful in? Those traits are not what I’d accept in any government.
Additionally, why would anyone vote for those who have said you’ll get $250 a fortnight in tax relief when most would get only $2.15 to $5 a week. Landlords will get tens of thousands of dollars in tax breaks for the interest they pay though. No thank you.
