Re: The Botanical Gardens playground.

What a wonderful addition this is to this area. The numerous times I have been there with my grandson, the place is bustling with kids of all ages.

I am however very disappointed that there is so much rubbish strewn around, so much so that I pick up offending items to discard in the few bins near the road. I understand more bins will be installed, which is good, but will it stop lazy people?

It is also sad that someone has damaged a wooden tower on the flying fox by gouging out a piece of the laminated wood — disappointing that cameras may have to be installed to stop such wanton destruction. Part of one of the trampolines has been vandalised too, so maybe cameras are needed.

Rubbish will not be easy to remove from under the tramps either.
