I am pedantic about recycling, have been for years, because it seems to me to be the right thing to do for the planet. All our containers, bottles, cans, cartons are washed and sorted.
On Monday morning I was aghast as I witnessed the rubbish truck pull up and throw ALL the recycling, including the rubbish bag, into one container to disappear all crunched together.
Why bother?!
