Ready, set, go . . .

Year 6 girls set off to test their long-distance running skills against the best in the region at the Inter-Schools Cross Country event held at Showgrounds Park yesterday. The races started by the cattle yards, went around the dog trials area and finished up around the main arena. The Year 5 and 6 events were held over 3000 metres and the Year 3 and 4 races were over 2000m.Pictures by Paul Rickard
