The 50-metre pool at the Gisborne Olympic pool complex was heated again from Thursday after wood chip issues were solved, and pool management said the pool would reopen today.
The water would be in a “cooler yet swimmable” condition over the weekend.
“We expect to reach optimal swimming temperature on Monday and we thank pool patrons for their patience,” pool management said in a Facebook post.
