Re: Jacinda's “smoke and mirrors”, October 11 letter.
I'm not sure what you mean by “smoke and mirrors show” — this seems pretty open to me, unlike the transferring of ownership, responsibility and funds between various entities. However, the results reported seem to indicate that Jacinda's presence has encouraged many
people to be vaccinated — that's why politicians travel around electorates smiling at people before elections. And while communities have all done great work to achieve the good vaccination results for Super Shot Saturday, don't discount the influence of a smiling and encouraging Prime Minister.
