Re: Cruel policies, more poverty — October 18 letter.
I am all for the right for others to have differing political views to my own, but Mary-Ann de Kort has been banging away almost nightly in the letters to the editor with her left-leaning, inaccurate vitriol for the thick end of six years and I, and many others, are over it.
The final straw was in last Wednesday’s paper when she wheeled out more of her blatantly inaccurate take on the woes of New Zealand under a National coalition government.
She needs to be put on mute until she at least knows what she is talking about in facts, not just her pretty warped political position.
I don’t for one minute believe any political party gets everything right, but we can clearly lay the blame on her Labour government for the shocking stats on race relations, government spending, poor delivery of services and downright failure to deliver on almost every major announcement they have made, from crime prevention to new housing, light rail and an alternative harbour bridge, to name a few.
