New staff members at Te Whatu Ora-Tairāwhiti have been welcomed this week with a pōwhiri.
The ceremony provided an opportunity to hear from the new colleagues, hear about their wide array of skills and backgrounds, and to connect with each other.
“Nau mai ki te waka hauora o Te Tairāwhiti — welcome. We look forward to working together to create a healthier Tairāwhiti,” a hospital spokesperson said.
The gathering's organiser hopes a ceremony will be held annually until Jamie is found.
