You can’t blame Ikaroa-Rawhiti voters feeling betrayed and disrespected after Meka Whaitiri walked from the mandate we elected her to fulfill. What happened to tikanga? Do we actually count? Why the stealth? How long had this been going on? Who was in the loop?
