The Rural Support Trust and Beef and Lamb NZ is holding meetings for the farming community next week which B+LNZ lead extension manager Mark Harris says will be an opportunity for people to share ideas on cyclone recovery.
The meetings will be in the Te Karaka Scout Hall at 4pm on Monday and in the Waerenga-o-kuri Hall at 11am, on Tuesday.
Mr Harris spent some time in the Gisborne region recently.
“It was so good to catch up with a number of farmers and see the areas impacted heavily by the cyclone.
“I also appreciated catching up with those working so hard to support the recovery process,” he said.
