Name suppression has lapsed for a man accused of sexual offending against two boys.
John Raye Tamanui, 67, has pleaded not guilty to five charges arising from the alleged offending, said to have happened in 2019.
Four of the charges — three of unlawful sexual connection with a male under
16 and one of doing an indecent act with a boy, relate to one of the complainants.
A further charge of doing an indecent act with a boy relates to the second complainant.
The boys were aged between eight and 11 at the time.
