Shakespeare as you have never seen it — that is the promise from Lytton High School about their production Aroha Mai, Aroha Atu, on at the War Memorial Theatre next Wednesday.
The play is based on Shakespeare’s As You Like it.
“We set our scene here in the Forest of Makauri, right here in Te Tairāwhiti, in an Aotearoa where all cultures are celebrated, te reo Māori sparkles in everyday use and te ao Māori shows a clear pathway in life through ideas and values,” says a publicity post.
Tickets are $5 and available from the school office
