Lotto win unclaimed

The $500,000 Lotto win struck here in last Saturday night’s draw had not been claimed as of yesterday afternoon.

A lucky Gisborne Lotto player shared the First Division prize with a player from Christchurch, each set to pocket half-a-million dollars.

The Gisborne winning ticket was sold at Ballance Street Bookshop and staff there

said yesterday it was still unclaimed.

“We’re hoping we will see the winner or winners soon.

“It’s possibly been won by a regular who will come in to get their ticket checked ahead of the next draw.”
