Local shines at Dog trial champs

Matawai dog triallist Samantha Shaw was the toast of the Poverty Bay Dog Trial Centre after her three-four finish in the zig-zag hunt final at the New Zealand championships at the Warepa Collie Club grounds near Balclutha last week. Hers was the best performance by anyone from the Centre and the results looked great on the scoreboard. She and Rogue finished third on 192.75 points, and her other dog Lottie fourth.
