A shout out of support to Haimona Ngata and the team at Tairāwhiti Adventure Trust. Their skills, enthusiasm and innovative ideas are welcome relief during so much despondency over the continual destruction of our city and surrounds. Bring it on . . . let’s not stop at Grey St; there is so much more to do.

Ie, waterblast the CBD pavements, paint buildings, clean windows, assist the homeless and beggars to a supportive environment.

Gladstone Rd from Customhouse St to Roebuck Rd urgently needs more seating and safe crossings, and security 24/7.

Let’s have more appealing, easy access to the beach.

Let’s all support any action towards gaining a vibrant city and clean beaches.

Manicured botanical gardens. great shopping, cafes, restaurants, events and markets.

We need supportive, positive media communication and headlines, presenting Gisborne to the world as a safe, clean and neat place to visit, live, work and play.

Everyone needs to “get in behind” the Tairāwhiti Adventure Trust — DoC, council et al — to bring back pride in Gisborne.
