In today’s world of Ukraines and Gazas, it is easy to get a mite discouraged as to whether Homo sapiens as a species is capable of long-term change.
Recently, I spent a few hours at the local hospital’s A & E department. I would like to record how impressed I was with the professionalism and basic “niceness” of all involved.
The place was constantly changing with a mass of humans, presenting with their various problems. I would imagine this is a high-stress environment.
I spent some time waiting, due to a variety of factors, but found this an interesting exercise, as a “fly on the wall”. The general kindness and gentle humanity restored my faith in human nature, at least, at a personal level.
Well done A & E team.
