Opinion
It is interesting to hear that our Prime Minister is not happy that a vast number of our citizens went without power and suffered from the cold. It is also disappointing to hear that they are still investigating why, after 10 years of continuous supply.
It is not rocket science:
population has grown and reduced fossil fuel usage equals not enough power. If you think that's bad, stop and think what 5 million-plus EVs plugged into the network is going to do to the supply.
I think I will keep my fossil-fuelled monster — at least when the power goes off, I will be able to drive round the block and keep warm.
