The Te Ahu Kauawhi taskforce working to collect Census forms in the Tairāwhiti community ended their house to house visits yesterday.
But a Census spokesperson said there will still be opportunities for people to complete it.
“There will continue to be a few events that Census kaimahi attend but yesterday was the last day for Census collectors to be working in neighbourhoods.
“People are also able to complete the Census online until June 30.
“We would reinforce the importance of the Census in terms of the community getting the services that it needs, when it comes to things like health, education and a wider range of community services.”
