“Children who had never received a present before got to experience that joy for the first time, which brought tears of joy to many, including the staff who organised the event.
“They felt humbled by the generosity and knew the incredible impact it would make on the children.

The Gisborne Road Pirates Social Motorcycle Club annual Hayden Miller Memorial Charity Run took place last month.
Participants paid a $10 entry fee — donated to SuperGrans — and were asked to bring a toy to be donated.
The fundraiser, which made $2400, is held in memory of Hayden Miller — the son of Road Pirates member Rob Miller.
Hayden had a rare chromosomal defect known as RCDP, which took his life in 2014. He was six years old.
