The rain returns.

Like a series of horror movies, the Gisborne-East coast region faces yet another episode of rain.

In its latest outlook for the region — covering East Cape down to Mahia and Hawke’s Bay — MetService has moderate confidence of heavy rain.

MetServices outlook says rainfall could reach warning criteria over tomorrow and Sunday, with reduced risk for Monday.

The extended outlook is for the heavy rain to continue through to Thursday from Hawke’s Bay further south and for  the Gisborne region. — RH
