Opinion

Kia ora whānau, I know a lot of us are feeling unsettled, upset and angry at the violence against our rainbow whānau. Here is a chance to make a real difference and help Rainbow Storytime take the bullies to court! Rainbow Storytime is taking donations to press changes against Brian Tamaki and Destiny church. Givealittle page details below.

“We have just had a long phone call with an amazing lawyer who is ready to help us fight Destiny Church and Brian Tamaki. We will be creating a crowd-funding page to help with some of the legal fees but this is our chance to put a stop to this terrible behaviour from him and his followers. The defamation, intimidation, threats, disinformation and hate towards the rainbow community has got to stop! And I think this is our best chance. It’s going to be a really tough time but we feel like it’s important and we have to work super hard to do this!”
