Re maximum age for voting, December 1.
Mr Roderick, your hypocrisy is gobsmacking on so many levels. Since 1893 every adult in New Zealand has been able to vote. Now, you’re the one wanting to take us back to (“the good old days”) where a particular cohort is excluded.
I’d also like you to cast your memory back five weeks. In late October you suggested in this forum that misguided followers learn how democracy in this country actually works. Now you’re suggesting there should be a maximum age for voting. Duh. That’s ageist, right?
In the same thread you also berated other demographics and accused them of being racist for not having the same views as you. Rich, grumpy, old, white men I think it was.
So, let’s add classism, ageism, racism and sexism to your list of prejudices, shall we?
