Madness is sweeping over us in the form of the national elections. To vote or not to vote, that is the question.

A Prime Minister with hair or no hair? To take the bait of race baiters or become the bait?

Sharks are circling. Great seducers are amongst us, luring us to the ballot box with tempting slogans and seductive smiles on their billboards.

I am very seduced. Who can resist the electoral titillation?

Much grooming of voters is in vogue for the moment, but soon we will know the results of

their endeavours and the truth of their promises.

So much needs to be done to save our island by our brave and sturdy candidates for election to high office. Can the successful politicians return us to the “Pavlova Paradise” we dreamed we once had?

A two-party race then. Which political party is the most bona fide?

In the time being our citizens “Labour” on and “Act” for the “National” good, wanting “New Zealand First” and not last, hopeful a “Green Siren” can befriend us at the “Maori Party” nearby, while minor parties await to gatecrash the show, making miracles happen.
