A Taste of Opera — thank you Gisborne Choral Society for a wonderful concert on Sunday afternoon (11th June). It was a lovely interlude for such a dreich and dreary day, and it was a bonus to hear Aston, Madeleine and Te Rei as the Three Genii. The balance between the harpsichord (Coralie Hunter) and cello (Riki Reedy) delighted the ear and overall it was a great afternoon’s entertainment.

Thank you Gavin, choristers, soloists et al for the dedicated hard work you do to bring us such a variety of programmes — I look forward to the next one!

Margaret Graham
