A celebratory morning tea yesterday marked the Gisborne Herald’s 150th birthday. Former long-serving staff were also invited. Jeremy had the honour of cutting the cake, a representation of a bundle of Gisborne Heralds, complete with blue binding tape. Cup cakes featured a topping (in edible icing) of the Gisborne Herald crest.
