The 14th cruise ship of the season was a no-show at the weekend when the skipper of the Silver Muse decided on Saturday night not to come into Turanganui-a-Kiwa/Poverty Bay on Sunday due to forecast swell conditions.
Instead the ship sailed on, bound for Wellington. It is the first time this season that a scheduled visit has not happened.
Le Laperouse is due next, on Saturday, with four others to call before the end of the month, including the Silver Muse.
