I can’t believe that the Comet Swimming Club has missed out on the learn-to-swim contract.

The Australian-based company Belgravia Leisure has over

$2 billion in assets, therefore they are not in it for the love of swimming but want to see profit.

Can The Herald please run an article on the contribution to swimming made by Beth Mead — I remember well her dedication and passion for swimming in Gisborne.

If a petition is set up to overturn the council decision, I will definitely sign it.
