These five- and six-year ewes from Eastland Farms Ltd — Strathblane Station, at Hangaroa, sold for $129 at Friday’s weekly sheep sale at the Matawhero saleyards. They were carrying good body condition, were scanned in lamb with single lambs and mated to a Hampshire ram from March 1.

The sale attracted a yarding of more than 3500 head.
