The Spring Show will go down as one of the district's best and, as usual, it was a family affair again, just ask the Teutenbergs from Hinenui Genetics (pic 1) who took home the T.S White Memorial shield in the wool section.

The stock competitions were loads of fun again and the Savage family (pic 2) from Kowhai Nui Station were rapt to take home the prizes in the Turuihaua Angus heifer Challenge.

It is appropriate to finish our pictorial series on 2019 on a family note, family being such a special part of life, in what has been a pretty special year.

Focus on the Land wishes everyone a safe and prosperous New Year! M.
