AN early morning tremor felt widely across Gisborne this morning had its epicentre in Eastern Bay of Plenty.
The 5.2 magnitude earthquake, struck at 1.44am, 10km west of Murupara at a depth of 88km.
The jolt was felt across most of the North Island, with 790 “felt it” reports submitted
